Liquid Logic started 2022 with no recreational sit on tops, but they're making up for it now! This year they brought back the Coupe and Deuce Coupe, and for 2023 are adding the Kiawah (in two sizes) and a solo version of the Stingray. Something for everyone!

Not sure what has happened to our friends at Darby Industries here in PA where we used to buy truck bed extenders, but thankfully we've been able to source one from Malone Industries. Like the Darby version it can be configured either vertically to match the height of the truck cab, or horizontally to match the bed height. Want to make it even easier? Add the optional roller bar!

24 Staff, family and friends gathered this year for our annual “Assalot Staff Retreat” over Columbus Day weekend (aka, reason to hang out at the river, eat WAY too much food, play and listen to music, paddle, and laugh a lot; mostly at ourselves!) And to make it even better, we were treated to great weather and a full moon. Even got the Bloody Mary War Canoe out; can't ask for more!

In memory of the veterans who sacrificed their lives for our freedom we donated a commemorative plaque at the Perry County Memorial Wall across the street from our shop. We'd also like to remind our past and present military personnel that we offer a 10% discount on accessories and rentals; just remind us when you come in. We appreciate all you do for us!

Beware! Spotted Lanternfly Invasion Bookmark this location of the page.
If you are visiting from outside our area, please be aware that we are INUNDATED with Spotted Lanternflies, and you DON'T want these in your backyard! Please check your vehicle thoroughly so you don't take them home with you. They're pretty, but believe us, you don't want to spread them!!!

Doug ran across someone in a bar (would you believe that???) who had a brand-new Swift canoe that was damaged in the wind while loading (sadly never saw the water.) Doug assured him that we could fix it; we weren't so sure since the damage occurred in the area behind the sealed end tank. I got the bright idea to try to pop it out with a car dent puller (didn't work), then to try pulling it out with a toggle bolt (also didn't work but left the canoe looking like it had been shot by some space-aged dart gun.) Jeff & Sarah put their heads together and were able to remove the bulkhead, repair the damage, and re-install the bulkhead. Go workshop team!

Yearly reminder: Please arrange to bring your repair and outfitting projects in during the off season; we're a lot less busy then. And you can get on the water faster once Spring hits! IMPORTANT: Unless you want to pay us $60 an hour to clean your boat (which takes even longer in the winter when the pressure washer is unhooked due to frost) PLEASE bring your boat / gear in CLEAN, inside and out! That includes duct tape, tape residue, Bondo, mouse droppings, stink bugs, spiders and all else! Yup, we've dealt with all of the above!

Say what? One of our customers was amazed when he asked Sarah if we had paddle britches in stock and she actually knew what he was talking about. You can see why these deck mount paddle holders from North Water were called that! (The new, updated ones, not quite as much.)

Jeff decided we needed a little holiday décor also, and volunteered Sarah to carve our own Great Pumpkin. Thanks, Sarah & Jeff (Sarah volunteered him to remove the pumpkin guts before carving!)

As you can see, the frost isn't on the pumpkin; there's still nice fall paddling to enjoy. When it DOES get too chilly though, stop by the shop, check out all the new boats and gear, and start dreaming about Spring!
